Job Description
The Pakistan Army has officially announced recruitment for the Armed Forces Nursing Service
(AFNS) for the session 2026. This prestigious program invites applications from qualified young
females of Pakistan to join the Armed Forces as Nurses. Eligible candidates can pursue either B.Sc
Nursing (for fresh candidates with Intermediate) or join as a Trained Nurse
(with nursing diploma/degree).
Interested unmarried female candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria, physical standards, and age
requirements must register online prior to the deadline: 13 August 2026. Detailed

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Age should be between 17 to 25 years as on 01st November
2026. For Trained Nurses, the age limit is 18 to 28 years.
- Gender: Only Female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Marital Status: Candidates must be Unmarried (widowed, divorced, or separated females
without encumbrances may also be eligible for Trained Nurse category).
- Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Jammu & Kashmir
(AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) are eligible. Dual nationality holders must surrender their foreign
nationality upon final selection.
Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum height of the applicants should be 5 feet (152 cm).
- Weight: As per the Body Mass Index (BMI) standards of the Pakistan Army.

- Download and print your registration slip.
- Report to your selected Army Selection & Recruitment Centre on the given date with your original
documents and registration slip for the written, intelligence, and medical tests.
